If you’re 18+ and wondering whether ADHD may be contributing to ongoing struggles with focus, organisation, motivation, overwhelm, or emotional regulation, our online ADHD assessment pathway is designed to help you gain clarity with a holistic lens.

This is a thorough, evidence-based online assessment process with one of our experienced clinical psychologists or neuropsychologists that goes beyond symptom checklists. We take the time to understand your experiences in context, gathering information from both you and a relevant support person, and providing a detailed report with tailored recommendations to help guide your next steps.

What’s included in the assessment

Your assessment includes:

  • Pre-assessment questionnaires: You will complete some psychometric screening questionnaires before you meet with one of our skilled psychologists to support the assessment process.

  • 80-minute client assessment session: A comprehensive clinical session to explore your current symptoms, history, functioning, and concerns so your psychologist can get to know you and understand what is getting in the way for you.

  • 50-minute collateral interview: Your psychologist will gather supporting information from someone who knows you well, such as a parent, partner, friend, or workplace contact.

  • Comprehensive written report: You will receive a detailed 8–10 page report outlining assessment findings and including tailored, personalised recommendations.

  • 30-minute feedback session: A follow-up appointment to review the outcome, answer questions, and discuss next steps.

Alongside your assessment and report, you will also receive:

  • A nutritional psychology eBook to keep, with practical guidance on eating to support ADHD

  • Curated podcast and book recommendations for ongoing learning and support

  • Information about referral options if you would like to consider additional treatment pathways, including medication or psychological support

We take a holistic, evidence-based approach to ADHD assessment. Alongside a thorough psychological assessment process, we provide evidence-based nutritional psychology guidance relevant to ADHD. This means your recommendations consider not only psychological factors, but also broader lifestyle and wellbeing influences that may affect focus, mood, energy, and daily functioning.

Who ADHD assessment is suitable for

This pathway is for adults (aged 18+) who are wondering whether ADHD may be contributing to challenges in areas such as:

  • focus and concentration

  • organisation and time management

  • emotional regulation

  • motivation and task completion

  • work or study performance

  • everyday overwhelm

If you feel as though any of these are getting in the way of you living the life you want to live, it may be helpful to consider an ADHD assessment.

**Please note to ensure assessment is appropriate and clinically meaningful, ADHD assessment may not be suitable at this time for individuals experiencing acute or unmanaged concerns that could significantly affect presentation. This may include active suicidal ideation, problematic substance use, severe sleep disturbance, or other factors that may impact the reliability of the assessment process. In these situations, more immediate or appropriate support may be recommended first.

  • If ADHD is an appropriate diagnosis for your presentation, you’ll gain greater clarity about your symptoms, a comprehensive written report, and tailored recommendations to help you move forward with confidence.

You’ll also receive practical resources to support your next steps, including a nutritional psychology eBook to keep, with evidence-based guidance on eating to support ADHD, as well as curated podcast and book recommendations for ongoing learning.

Where relevant, we can also provide information about referral pathways for clients who wish to explore additional treatment options, including medical review and medication.

  • For clients who would like further help after assessment, tailored 1:1 support for ADHD symptom management is also available.

  • Psychologists can assess and diagnose ADHD, however they do not prescribe medication. Where relevant, we can provide information about referral pathways for clients who would like to explore medical review or medication options.

  • For an adult ADHD assessment to be clinically appropriate, there needs to be evidence that symptoms were present in childhood. Where possible, this is gathered through collateral information such as a parent, sibling, partner, friend, school reports, or other relevant records. If you’re unsure whether you have access to this information, please contact us and we can discuss whether this pathway is likely to be suitable for you.
